The Halo 3 Legendary Edition ($130) is already making its way onto the Amazon Bestseller list, taking third place. Seeing as these are only pre-orders and the game still has a few months before it hits retail, who agrees that Halo 3 is on track to be the best-selling Xbox 360 game ever?

After refreshing for hours people either faced connection errors or this screen telling them that it was sold out (1000 units).
Even the Amazon.com homepage is still unresponsive..

Rumor has it that Amazon will soon be selling an Xbox 360 bundle for $100. This would be a significant markdown, as the regular Core System goes for $299.99, while the Premium Package goes for $399.99.
The holiday promotion package is said to include the Xbox 360 Core System and possibly other accessories. Perhaps Amazon will be pairing Core Systems with 20GB hard drives in order to make room for the new 70GB unit about to drop.
Unfortunately, specific details are sparse at this point, but expect to hear something in the coming days...

Did Amazon just leak a price drop which might be set for Oct. 19 conference? or it's just a typo?
Core: $399, Premium: $499.
The core model will retail for $399 and contain a 20GB upgradeable hard drive, Blu-ray drive, HDMI port for high definition visuals, and Bluetooth wireless controllers. The premium model will retail for $499 and in addition to the features of the core model contains flash card readers, WiFi wireless networking, and silver exterior trim.

It seems some early risers were temporarily able to place a pre-order for the Nintendo Wii, at the online retailer, Amazon. The new gaming console is not to be released officially until November 19. It's not possible to know exactly how many of the consoles were pre-ordered, however, the device hit #6 on the top sellers list for Game Hardware category.
