When Bully was announced back at E3 2005 to a small closed door group of press it immediately garnered a ton of attention. Unfortunately it was the wrong kind of attention with numerous groups and a lawyer that should not be named claiming the game was a Columbine Simulator. These people went as far as saying the game should be cancelled and that it was irresponsible of Rockstar to make such a game. These people are also idiots. They were irresponsible for not getting all the information on this game before making these outrageous claims....

Rockstar Games have this morning confirmed that their controversial upcoming game Bully will be renamed to Canis Canem Edit - Latin for Dog Eat Dog.
At this stage, Rockstar isn't saying why the name's been changed. But it's not difficult to have a guess, when you consider all the criticism it's had from anti-bullying campaigners, members of parliament and, er, peaceaholics.

Rockstar, has confirmed that it will release a game with themes of school fighting in October.
"Bully", in which a 15 year-old defends himself against school bullies at a fictional US boarding school called Bullworth Academy has got the anti-violent video games lobby hot under the collar since it was announced last year.
The hero has to use baseball bats that break after several blows, stink bombs and bags of marbles that when strategically thrown will lay flat most pursuers. A Rockstar spokesman said that Bully can speak for itself....

Rockstar has confirmed that Bully, currently in development at the company's Vancouver studio, will be an exclusive title for PlayStation2. The news comes as recent trends show a massive drop in support for Microsoft's original console from many developers and publishers.
