I am the mother of a 26 year old young man. He moved away from home at the age of 20. I have no idea if Second Life was around 6 years ago, but let me make one thing perfectly clear. Second Life should be banned from every home everywhere. It is an addiction that takes hold and takes over one's life. I had no clue what my son was doing. He is 26, does not work, gambles, and goes on the computer. That is his life.

I first posted about this auction when I saw it on another forum, it started at $24 and had 24 NES games including a rare GOLD cart of Nintendo World Championship 1990. I thought some lucky dog was going to pick this cart up for only a few thousand but it ended up selling for a record sum. I think it was mostly due to the fact that the auction was for the persons son who died in the Iraq war.
Seeing these awesome screenshots makes me want to go back and play with my Lego's, well, and play those old school games. Both are the best!
On second thought, I may try this with some of the newer games, such as Battlefield and Call of Duty, now that would be cool.

With all the news of games being cancelled (Black Blade, Endless Saga, etc) many gamers have been disheartened into feeling that Sony is losing developers left and right. Well with some research, gamers should be a little less worried. Here is a list of over 200 games that are either currently in development or planned for the PS3:
