It looks like many of the issues with PS2 games are fixed, and that's great news to people who want to get rid of their old systems when they move to a PS3. Final Fantasy X-2 looks great, no jaggies or artifacts. Resident Evil 4 looks just as good as I remember. This is a big deal, and a large problem with the PS3 has disappeared.
The Playstation Store seems to be more responsive, it doesn't feel as sluggish as I move from item to item; pages also seem to load faster. It makes the process a lot zippier.

That a majority of the games affected are games that do not have 480p coded into them. It SEEMS that 480i only games are the ones exhibiting this glitch the most. Changing cables from HDMI to component to composite cables does not rectify the issue. Changing to a non-HD TV without scalers does not fix the issue either. Firmware upgrade 1.30 does not address the issue.
Please list all games tested that exhibit this problem and if you can, post screen shots of what the game looks like on a PS2 and what it looks like on PS3 coming from the SAME...

The console will sell for $130 and include a silver PS2 controller.

To date Sony has sold more than 111 million of the consoles and 1.12 billion games for it.
When Bully was announced back at E3 2005 to a small closed door group of press it immediately garnered a ton of attention. Unfortunately it was the wrong kind of attention with numerous groups and a lawyer that should not be named claiming the game was a Columbine Simulator. These people went as far as saying the game should be cancelled and that it was irresponsible of Rockstar to make such a game. These people are also idiots. They were irresponsible for not getting all the information on this game before making these outrageous claims....

Sony announced the expansion of the PS2 & PSP line-up in Europe with the introduction of a new color Pink!.
A limited edition Pink PSP Value Pack will be available from 27th October and will include a Pink PSP, with all the accessories.
The new Pink PS2 will be available from 8th November, and will have its public debut at the Games Convention in Leipzig, held from 23rd to the 27th of August.
