It looks like the PS3 is way too powerful for us mere humans, and because the value is so overwhelming, Sony is going to make it a little more palatable. The RSX, previously scheduled to run at 550/700 core/memory has been realigned with expectations and the value chain at 500/650.

reckon we will all be impressed with Playstation 3's graphics capabilities. Someone from the team that saw the demos developed in house could not keep their mouth shout.
Nvidia is using existing G71 renamed to RSX as the graphic core of choice for Playstation 3 and even it can not technologically match ATI's Xenos it still offers a lot of potential if used wisely.
